GRAMMAR: verbs followed by objects and infinitives. When a verb is followed by an object and then an infinitive, what is known as a "verb + object + infinitive" structure is formed. In this structure, the main verb is followed by a direct object and then by an infinitive, which may be preceded by "to." Explames 1. They gave me advice to improve at work. 2. Pets were not allowed inside the building. 3. my parents decided to buy a new car. 4. Do you remember calling your mom? 5. They announced to build a new park in the neighborhood. 6. The movie convinced me to travel to that place. 7. I invite you to dinner tonight.

  GRAMMAR : Non count nouns that rrepresent abdtract ideas. Non-count nouns represent abstract ideas or things that cannot be counted individually, such as "love", "happiness", "money", "water", etc. These nouns do not have a plural form and cannot be counted with individual numbers. Examples 1. A government must prioritize the well-being of its citizens. 2. Politics can be a complex and challenging field to work in. 3. Voting is a powerful tool to express your opinion in a democracy. 4. A democracy values the participation of its citizens in decision making. 5. A monarchy usually has traditions and customs that go back centuries. 6. A dictatorship suppresses the freedoms of its people for the sake of control. 7. A constitutional monarchy has a set of laws that limit the power of the monarch.

 Grammar: TIRD CONDITIONAL The third conditional is used to talk about past situations and how they could have been different depending on whether the condition was met or not. structure: IF + PAST PERFECT + WOULD HAVE + PAST PARTICIPLE Examples with sentences If I wasn't so busy, I would have gone to the movies. If my brother hadn't been lied to before, he would have believed me. If you had worked harder, you would have passed your exam. If he left class early he wouldn't be late home. If I had been invited to the party on Saturday I would have gone. If I were followed in accordion classes I would have already learned.

  Grammar: SECOND CONDITION The second con ditional is the one we use when we talk about things, usually unreal, that are very unlikely to happen. Its structure is: If + past simple +  subject  + would +  infinitive . Examples 1. I wouldn't be studying at this university if it weren't for my parents. 2. If my dad would leave work earlier, he would spend more time at home. 3. If my mom had a career, she wouldn't be a housewife. 4. If my family had a car we would travel more often. 5. If I went to sleep early then I wouldn't be so sleepy. 6. If it rained it wouldn't be so hot. 7. If my brother didn't drop out of college, he would have already graduated.
